VIEWFINDER BRINGS HOME ANOTHER ACM AWARD
WinCAM’s weekly podcast, Viewfinder, has once again captured the Hometown Media Award in the Professional Audio Programming category. This makes two straight years that Viewfinder has won this prestigious national award. We are extremely proud of this accomplishment.
We hope to be there in person to accept the award during the Alliance for Community Media’s Annual Conference taking place in July in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When we set up the WinCAM Podcast Network, we thought having a staff-produced program would help set an example for our membership. The idea has worked with several member-produced podcasts taking off and more to come. Viewfinder has had the added bonus of providing a vehicle for town boards and civic groups to share the good word about what they’re doing. Of course, it’s not all WinCAM. We have to send out thanks to Melissa Russell of the Winchester Star who joins us every week and has done so since the podcast’s humble beginnings.
As we near the 100th episode of Viewfinder, we are very excited for the future of the podcast that keeps Winchester in focus. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do!
