What ends up on our channels isn’t always up to us. WinCAM is a true community channel and our members help in so many ways.
WHAT WE DO
According to our agreement with the Town of Winchester, WinCAM will provide coverage of the following:
- Meetings of the Selectboard
- Meetings of the School Committee
- Town Meeting & Town Elections
- Civic announcements including street closures, parking bans, etc.
- Weather alerts and School closings
- Town Board and Committee vacancies
- Emergency communications
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We depend on the help of our members to produce events like:
- Town Day coverage
- Graduations & special school events
- Activities of other Winchester non-profits
- Sporting events
- Informational talk shows
- Concerts and performances
YOU CAN DO THIS
A great way to get involved is to work alongside the professionals on WinCAM staff shoots or to take advantage of opportunities when coverage is requested by a community member.
