AND THE NOMINEES ARE…

      By now you know what the Hometown Media Awards are. These are national awards sponsored by the Alliance for Community Media. WinCAM members and staff are proud to have won three of these awards over the last five years.

     This year, we entered four categories, hoping to bring back some more hardware. First, WinCAM’s podcast that keeps Winchester in focus, Viewfinder was entered again after winning the Best Audio Program last year.

     We are also proud to announce that we entered three member-produced programs:

Aiden Rood’s America Tonight, Margo Attaya’s Ecolibrium TV and Guru Ramanathan’s HYPER-. Best of luck to all the entries.

     WinCAM will also be a judging site for some other categories. If you’re interested in the process and have some time to watch some other aspiring producers, email anthonyg@wincam.org .
